Meet the Director
I started S & M Solutions because I believed homeowners deserved a more professional and considered construction experience than the industry usually offers — one built on clarity, accountability and genuine craftsmanship, from the first conversation to the final handover.
Before founding the company, I spent years as a project manager on high-value residential and commercial builds across London, working for some of the country’s leading Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors. Managing complex projects, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and holding commercial control shaped the structured, design-led way we work today.
With over 22 years of hands-on experience in construction, I stay personally involved in every project we take on — not just at the beginning and end, but throughout. Clients deal directly with me, so standards never slip and there’s always one clear point of contact and a straight answer. The work itself is delivered by an experienced team of trusted specialists, but the director-level involvement is constant.
My qualifications — an NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management, SMSTS and Black CSCS, among others — underpin how we operate, and I’m currently pursuing Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Building (FCIOB) through the direct-entrant route, a recognition reserved for experienced professionals with a proven track record.

About the Company
Founded in 2015, S & M Solutions Ltd was built on a strong construction foundation, delivering complex residential projects across London from the outset. That hands-on grounding gave us a thorough technical understanding of how buildings actually go together — knowledge that still informs every project we deliver today.
As the business grew, we expanded into a fully integrated Design and Build model, bringing design development, planning coordination and construction delivery under one roof. One team, one point of contact, responsible for the project from the first drawing to the final handover — so nobody’s left chasing an architect who tells them to call the builder who tells them to call the architect.
Today we’ve completed well over 180 projects, specialising in high-quality extensions, loft conversions, full home renovations, new homes and period property work across South East London and beyond. We combine architectural thinking with practical build expertise, so we can manage complex, high-value projects with confidence and clarity — and deliver results that stand up long after we’ve handed over the keys.
